Display Timeline/Linear Data In Flot

Does anyone know how to get flot to display a type of 'timeline'? E.g. Y: Person1| ----- ------- Person2| ------- ------- Person3| -- ----- ---- Person4| -------

Finally found the answer. Use the configuration 'ticks'.
